Preparation of the structural Bill of Quantities for a four-building, three-storey residential development in Accra, on a site of approximately 33,800 m².
The assignment
From drawings to reliable quantities.
The development comprises two pairs of buildings: two residential blocks with accessible roofs and two semi-detached blocks, together with a gym, swimming pool, generator room, gatehouse, and parking areas.
The assignment was completed for YEM Building Construction as part of construction work undertaken for a real-estate agency.
The detailed quantities cover earthworks and excavations together with structural works: foundations, 150 mm reinforced-concrete slabs, reinforced-concrete walls and parapets across all buildings and ancillary structures.
The estimate was limited exclusively to structural work, in accordance with the scope defined by the client.
